When gently lit, palo santo releases aromatic smoke rich in naturally occurring compounds which have been studied for their antimicrobial properties. Its smoke is said to rid the air of negative and stagnant energy as well as bacteria and mold. Traditionally used in cleansing rituals throughout South America, the wood is believed to help purify the air and refresh spaces on both a physical and energetic level.
Care
For best results, trim wick to ¼” before each relight, do not burn more than 3 hours at a time, allow wax to pool edge-to-edge on first burn to prevent tunneling, place on heat-safe surface. Do not leave any burning candles unattended.
